Weak But Strong

2 Corinthians 12:9

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Many people think God doesn’t hear their prayer just because they don’t hear the answer. In our verse today, Paul struggled with all his might. He asked God to take away the struggle. God said, “No,” because God knew more than Paul. He steps into the times where we feel “not enough.”

Here is our lesson: Weakness isn’t a verdict against us; it’s an open door for God to help in ways we could never imagine. His strength fills the weaknesses we cannot handle. Surely you’ve heard someone say, “I don’t know how she handled that sickness. I couldn’t have.” Maybe she didn’t either. Perhaps it was God.

In every struggle we face, we can discover a power that carries us, steadies us, and makes us whole.

Suggested Prayer:

Lord, meet me in my weakness and teach me joyful dependence, so Your strength becomes my steady hope.
