Shining Faces

Exodus 34:29

“When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.”

Moses didn’t try to shine, he simply spent time with God, and the glow followed. That’s how real spiritually works. It’s quiet. It’s slow. Sometimes we don’t even notice it happening. But others do. Surely you have know that person who lights up the room by entering. Others light up the room by leaving.

God’s presence leaves traces on a life, soft but unmistakable. His Word lights us from the inside, shaping our thoughts, calming our fears, and brightening the places we didn’t know were dim.

When we draw close to Him, something in us becomes more open, more gentle, more steady. God’s radiance begins to rest on us. Let your light shine…and glorify your Father in heaven.

Suggested Prayer: Lord, draw me close enough that Your presence shapes me, warms me.
