Tomorrow!

2 Corinthians 5:7

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Sometimes I wish God would let me peek around the corner and see what tomorrow holds. I don’t need to know everything. Just enough to know that things will be all right.

But God doesn’t work that way. He simply asks me to trust Him, even when I cannot see what lies ahead.

I’ve learned that worrying about tomorrow can steal some of the joy God has given us today. Sometimes we’re so busy worrying about what might happen tomorrow that we fail to appreciate the blessings God has given us today.

I love that Paul says we “walk by faith.” Walking means moving forward. God doesn’t ask us to see the whole road. He asks us to trust Him with the next step.

The real secret to enjoying today is learning to leave tomorrow in God’s hands.

After all, we may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know Who holds tomorrow.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to trust You with tomorrow and enjoy the blessings You give today.

I’m Lonnie Davis, and this is a thought worth thinking.
