Malachi 3:16
“At that time those who feared the LORD spoke with one another, and the LORD listened and heard them.”
I wonder how many times God has listened to conversations I thought were just between friends.
Malachi tells us about some faithful people who were talking together about the Lord. They weren’t preaching or praying. They were simply sharing their faith, and God was listening.
But here’s what touches my heart. Verse 16 says that a scroll of remembrance was written before Him. God didn’t just hear their words. He remembered them!
Think about that the next time you encourage a friend, share an answered prayer, or tell someone how good God has been to you.
We may forget those little conversations, but God remembers.
Maybe today you can brighten someone’s day by saying something good about the Lord. It doesn’t have to be profound. Just speak from your heart.
Remember, God is listening.
Prayer: Lord, help me speak words that encourage others, honor You, and leave behind lasting blessings.
