Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you go through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
Trials aren’t interruptions to your life. They’re part of it. God doesn’t say if you pass through deep water and fire. He says when. This verse isn’t about escaping trouble. It’s about God’s presence while in it. God walks with you. He steadies your steps when the path feels overwhelming. And that presence shows up right when you need it most.
Trouble usually shows up while you’re still in the middle of things, not before it starts. This promise isn’t vague. It’s personal. God knows your name, your fears, and your story. His presence turns the scariest places into ones you can walk through.
You won’t walk alone. And you won’t be consumed.
Prayer: Lord, steady my steps and remind me that You walk with me.
