“On either side of the river stood a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month.”
One thing I’ve learned about life is that very little stays the same. Happy days come and go. Our strength isn’t what it used to be. Some of the people we love are no longer sitting at our table. Sometimes we find ourselves wishing we could enjoy yesterday’s blessings just one more time.
But there’s something beautiful waiting for us.
John describes the tree of life, bearing fresh fruit every month. Think about that. No barren seasons. No empty branches. No wondering if the good days are over.
Maybe some of life’s most wonderful moments are behind you. But don’t let that make you forget what’s ahead.
For God’s children, the best harvest is still coming. And it will never be the last.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the wonderful blessings ahead, where Your goodness will never end.
