Revelation 2:10
“Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
For all of my preaching life, this verse was the throw in to show that there are not just 5 steps to salvation, but a sixth one that says “Be faithful unto death.” That is true, but it skips one great detail: the trail will last only ten days.
Whatever you are going through right now, will come to an end! If it is raining in your life, it won’t rain always. In other words, no storm last forever and the sun will shine again.
God’s promise is that the tribulation you face will end in “ten days.” However long that is, it will end.
Be faithful today. Satan has a limit. God has the last word!
Prayer: Lord, I trust You with my calendar. Give me strength for today, and remind me that You are in control.
