Genesis 6:18
“But I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall enter the ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.”
God said these words to Noah, but they were not words for Noah alone. We know this because Noah did not walk into the ark alone. When Noah stepped into the ark, his whole household stepped in with him. All eight were saved.
God’s covenant was for him, but it saved his wife, his sons, and their wives. They were all shaped by Noah’s choice.
Our lives work the same way. What we do does not affect only us. The people we walk with are pulled along by our decisions, and we are pulled along by theirs. This is why the company we keep matters so much. The right people carry us toward good. The wrong ones carry us toward ruin.
Prayer: Lord, guide my choices so my example strengthens others and points them to You.
