Psalm 5:3
“In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to You and watch expectantly.”
David said, “In the morning,” He doesn’t wait for the day to wear him down before he prays. Morning, before the noise gets first access to his mind, he speaks to God first. And it’s not small talk, he pleads his case, bringing something real before a Judge who actually listens.
But David doesn’t stop there. After he speaks, he watches for the answer and expects an answer! That’s the part most of us skip. Don’t just pray and move on. Pray and stay alert for what God actually does.
Real morning prayer isn’t just words sent upward and forgotten. It’s a conversation you stay present for and then watch for His answer..

Prayer: Lord, hear my voice this morning before anything else speaks to me. Help me watch expectantly for Your answer today.
