I Can Only Imagine

1 Corinthians 2:9

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Sometimes we strain to picture what awaits us. We borrow the brightest images we know: golden streets, pearly gates, crystal rivers and hold them up like fragile sketches.

The truth is far more beautiful, far more astonishing. God isn’t crafting a modest reward; He is preparing wonder, uncontainable joy, and the truest home our hearts have ever longed for. Your deepest hopes? They still don’t reach high enough. But take heart: every promise is wrapped in perfect love. One day faith will turn to sight, and we will stand amazed at what our loving Father has kept for us. For now, we can only imagine.

I’m Lonnie Davis and these are thoughts worth thinking.

Suggested Prayer:  Father, lift my eyes beyond what I can imagine and fill me with joyful trust in the glorious future You have prepared.
