Spiritually Strong

Revelation 3:8

“I know your deeds. …For you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name.”

Some days, you feel strong enough to face whatever life brings. Other days, it takes nearly everything you have just to keep going.

I love what Jesus said to the Christians in Philadelphia. He knew they had only a little strength, but He didn’t scold them for being weak. Instead, He praised them for being faithful.

Think about that. Jesus wasn’t disappointed by how little strength they had. He was pleased with what they were doing with it.

Perhaps you’re tired, discouraged, or carrying burdens nobody else knows about. You may feel you have very little left to give. But don’t overlook the value of simply holding on.

God doesn’t measure your faithfulness by how strong you feel, but by how faithfully you follow Him.

Sometimes your greatest victory isn’t doing something remarkable. It’s simply refusing to give up.

And remember, a little strength is enough when you place it in the hands of an Almighty God.

Prayer: Father, when I feel weak and weary, help me keep trusting You and never surrender.

I’m Lonnie Davis, and this is a thought worth thinking.
