John 3:17
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
Many people picture God with a raised finger. They expect condemnation and a verdict. Yet Jesus came for a different reason. The world already stood condemned, lost and out of reach of its own rescue. Into that need, the Father moved first. He sent His Son.
That tells us about the Father’s heart. His motive was love, not wrath. He did not send a judge to pronounce sentence. He sent a Savior to pay for it.
If guilt has convinced you that God is against you, hear this verse again. Christianity is not a message of condemnation. It is good news. The door is open, and it is open through Him.
Come without fear! Come, because He came to save.
Prayer: Father, thank You for sending Your Son to save me. Help me trust Your heart and rest in Him.
