Deuteronomy 6:5
“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”
Not part of your heart. All of it!
It’s easy to love God in pieces. We give Him Sunday mornings, maybe our prayers before bed, but leave the rest of our life shut up. The job. The bank account. The opinions we hold tightly. We rule those things..
But Paul pushes further in 1 Corinthians 10:31: “whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Not some things. Whatever you do.
God isn’t asking for a tithe of your attention. He’s asking to walk through your life, because He already gave all of Himself for you.
What have you kept closed off?
Prayer: Lord, take every part of my heart, I hold nothing back.
