God’s Limit?

Mark 10:27

“With man this is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”

Sometimes one little word can rescue a whole sentence. A doctor says, “The diagnosis is serious, but there is a treatment.” Suddenly, there is hope.

Jesus gives us that same kind of word here. “With man this is impossible” sounds final. Then comes this: “but not with God.”

There are things you cannot fix. A relationship may be broken. A mistake may still hurt. Someone you love may seem far away.

You may have reached the end of what you can do.

But God has not reached the end of what He can do.

Never mistake your limit for God’s limit.

Prayer: Father, help me trust that You are still at work even when I can do no more.

Greatness Serves

Mark 10:45

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Greatness rarely stoops. Kings sit on high. Leaders stay polished. The world teaches us that the higher you climb, the fewer people you kneel before. Jesus rewrote that script. The One who made the stars picked up a towel. The One with angels at His command bent low enough to wash dusty feet. He didn’t blush at service; He embraced it. He said it was His purpose, His calling, His way. Suddenly greatness isn’t about thrones at all. It’s about posture. True greatness kneels. True greatness serves. True greatness looks like Jesus.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart that chooses the towel over the throne.
