Stronger than Sickness

Proverbs 18:14

The spirit of a man can endure his sickness,
but who can survive a broken spirit?

When physical illness strikes, a resilient spirit often becomes our strongest medicine. We can bravely endure a surprising amount of bodily pain when our hearts remain anchored in hope. But a crushed spirit is a much heavier burden.

When our inner world fractures from deep betrayal, profound grief, or shattered dreams, that invisible weight can feel impossible to carry alone. We might smile on the outside while quietly collapsing on the inside. This is why tending to our spiritual health is vital.

We cannot merely treat our visible wounds; we must bring our hidden, broken pieces to the Great Physician. God always sees the silent battles raging beneath the surface. Lean into His healing spirit today. Let His enduring love bind up your wounded heart and completely restore your weary soul.
